9 weeks (baby #2)

How far along: 9 Weeks!
Maternity clothes: No, wearing lots of long jersey skirts and workout clothes most days
Stretch marks: No
Sleep: It's my favorite - but still pretty tired all the time
Best moment of the week: I was able to get another sneak peak at baby this week with an ultrasound. Baby was measuring 3 days ahead! So happy our little babe is growing so well!
Worst moment of the week: After spending the morning at Disney this week, I felt so awful the rest of the day. Headache, nausea, the works. I think the sun and heat took it's toll on me.
Running/Workouts: Running and working has been good. Still doing 5 miles a day, four to five times per week, with some light weight lifting thrown in the mix.
Missing anything: Ibuprofen when I had that headache!
Movement: No
Things that make me queasy: Sickness seems to be easing off, with the occasional bad day.
Energy level: Low, but perhaps I'm starting to get a little bit more energy.
Labor signs: No
Belly button in or out: In
Wedding ring on or off: On
Mood: Happy
Looking forward to: Get genetic (And gender!) blood work back in a week!!!!
Something surprising about being pregnant with baby #2: I feel ginormous! I already have a belly, even though my uterus isn't to blame as it's still tucked away in my pelvis. I hate that I'm gaining so much weight this early on, despite eating relatively healthy and working out all the time. Trying my best to relax and remind myself I'm growing a little human (easier said than done, though).

8 weeks (baby #2)

How far along: 8 Weeks!
Maternity clothes: No, but sadly most of my clothes are already tight :(
Stretch marks: No
Sleep: I can't get enough sleep - naps, early to bed, all of it!
Best moment of the week: We got to see our little bouncing baby this week! At 7.1 weeks the baby was measuring 7.3 weeks with a heartbeat of 160bpm! What a beautiful sight to be seen! Feeling so very blessed.
Worst moment of the week: During the ultrasound, they also found I have a small Subchorionic hemorrhage.  I had one with Harper, and it was nothing. This one is just as small, and even noted in the report as being "implantation bleeding". I've had zero spotting or cramps, which is good. Praying this remains to be nothing.
Running/Workouts: Running is good, slow and steady. Running 5 miles at about an 8:50-9 minute mile most days.
Missing anything: Energy
Movement: No
Things that make me queasy: Same things - I've thrown up twice, right after eating. Mostly I just have all day underlying nausea and some dry heaving.
Energy level: Negative 20
Labor signs: No
Belly button in or out: In
Wedding ring on or off: On
Mood: Blessed
Looking forward to: Baby's first concert tonight - Going to see James Bay!
Something surprising about being pregnant with baby #2: These first few weeks are really dragging. I feel like in retrospect the entire pregnancy will have flown by in the blink of an eye AND all I'll want is to be pregnant all over again...but the first trimester of feeling crappy and not been able to tell people is rough.

7 weeks (baby #2)

How far along: 7 Weeks!
Maternity clothes: No, but I've taken my long, jersey skirts out of retirement...they're just so comfy!
Stretch marks: No
Sleep: Still tired and heading to bed around 8-9pm every night
Best moment of the week: London was fun, but as they say, there's no place like home!
Worst moment of the week: Morning sickness sucks, period. Queasy all day and dry heaving now. Harper finds this hilarious and mimics me at dinner.
Running/Workouts: Working out has felt better since being home, running 4-5 miles a day, just a slower pace than usual
Missing anything: Nope
Movement: No
Things that make me queasy: Mostly everything, right now it's smells that are bothering me
Energy level: Low
Labor signs: No
Belly button in or out: In
Wedding ring on or off: On
Mood: Happy, but tired
Looking forward to: Our FIRST ultrasound tomorrow! I can't wait to see this little baby!!!!
Something surprising about being pregnant with baby #2: I am feeling extra huge at only 7 weeks. I know my uterus is still teeny tiny, but my belly sure ain't. I know most women say they show a lot earlier with their second baby, but I swear I look 18 weeks pregnant right now. Last time I gained the majority of my weight the first trimester, it slowed down drastically the 2nd, and hardly gained any the's hoping I can avoid the weight gain so soon this time around.

6 weeks (baby #2)

How far along: 6 Weeks!
Maternity clothes: No
Stretch marks: No
Sleep: The fatigue is unbelievable this time around. We flew to London last Wednesday and the 5 hour time change isn't helping.
Best moment of the week: Traveling to London with family. Harper did so well on the long flight over and has just been amazing!
Worst moment of the week: Morning sickness started on Saturday. It isn't terrible, but it's there all day, just an unsettling feeling. Food aversions are also back, nothing sounds good. While I'm loving being in England, its a hard time to travel with the fatigue and morning sickness.
Running/Workouts: Running has been difficult while on vacation with the tiredness and not feeling well - but I made it to the hotel gym everyday. Working out definitely makes the morning sickness a little better.
Missing anything: Not feeling sick...and missing out on some good beers here in London.
Movement: No
Things that make me queasy: Gosh, a lot - gum, soda, hotel breakfast bar...
Energy level: Nonexistent
Labor signs: No
Belly button in or out: In
Wedding ring on or off: On
Mood: Tired
Looking forward to: Having fun these last days in London, and getting home to see Juno on Wednesday!
Something surprising about being pregnant with baby #2: I still can't believe how sensitive a pregnant woman's sense of smell is. I used to think women were exaggerating, but I can smell everything around me, and most things make me sick to my stomach. I feel like a bloodhound.
