16 weeks (baby #2)

16 weeks - baby is the size of an avocado...one of those giant ones I imagine!

How far along: 16 weeks!
Maternity clothes: Yep, and loving it!
Stretch marks: No
Sleep: Sleep is pretty good
Best moment of the week:  I took Harper to see Santa this week. She wasn't a fan last year, and same was true this year. We've been talking Santa up so much lately, and even bought a "pretty" dress just to visit him! She seemed so excited up until she saw him. She immediately cried and wouldn't sit with him. The guys at the Mall at Millenia are so awesome though, they took their time and we were able to get some great pictures of her actually smiling. She's been talking nonstop about Santa since then!
Worst moment of the week:  I've been getting more frequent headaches lately. I'm not one who normally gets headaches, so they've been kicking my ass.
Running/Workouts: Running has been a little difficult this week, as I suddenly started to feel the weight of my uterus while working out. I've also been leaning more towards running outside instead of the treadmill. With the cooler morning and earlier sunrises with the time change, I've enjoyed it a lot more lately. But runs are definitely challenging and slow.
Missing anything: No
Movement: No
Things that make me queasy/recent cravings: I love calamari so much! For the first time, this week I bought frozen squid and cooked it in our air fryer. Not as good as the restaurants but it was pretty tasty!
Energy level:  Energy is pretty good, but I get tired pretty easily
Labor signs: No
Belly button in or out: In
Wedding ring on or off: On
Mood: Happy
Looking forward to: We are traveling to Colorado next week - excited to visit family and hopefully see some old friends! This will be Harper's second trip on an airplane. Hoping for nice weather, and perhaps Harper's first snow experience!
Something surprising about being pregnant with baby #2: My uterus is just about halfway to my bellybutton this week. I haven't felt her move yet, but I think I've already felt some very mild Braxton Hicks tightness. The more babies you have, the more likely you are to feel movements and contractions earlier. I am definitely more aware of things. Feels like a dream to be on this journey again!
