How far along: 4 Weeks!
Maternity clothes: No
Stretch marks: No
Sleep: Sleeps is great - I am super exhausted, but I doubt it's the pregnancy at this point...it's probably more related to being a mom, work, school, and clinincals!
Best moment of the week: Took my first pregnancy test on Friday, August 19th, which was 3 weeks 4 days! After four months of trying, we were finally pregnant with baby #2!
Worst moment of the week: What I thought was allergies that started on Thursday is still lingering, so I think I'm dealing with a minor head cold. The stuffiness and runny nose is no fun.
Running/Workouts: Running and working out like usual. 5-6 miles on my days off.
Missing anything: Nope! I am so happy and so very grateful to be pregnant again!
Things that make me queasy: Nothing yet!
Energy level: Pretty low
Labor signs: No
Belly button in or out: In
Wedding ring on or off: On
Looking forward to: Being able to tell friends and family about baby #2 in about 8 weeks!
Something surprising about being pregnant with baby #2: I got pregnant two cycles after my ovarian drilling with Harper. I was taking Femara as well. After having Harper, I got my first period at about 9 months postpartum. Since then, I have been getting regular periods every 28-30 days. I felt 100% normal! When we decided to start trying we were both very confident this time would be easy! But after three months or positive OPKs and healthy day 21 progesterone levels, I still wasn't pregnant. I know that it can take perfectly normal, healthy couples 12 months to conceive...but suddenly, all those emotions and fears came rushing back from three years ago. After much discussion, I finally decided to give Femara another shot. My day 21 progesterone this cycle was 21.2! I've never been higher than 16! I was so confident this cycle (as I was the previous three)...and when I took that first pregnancy test, I knew in my heart it would be positive! We are over the moon, head over heals, unbelievably excited to embark on this journey again!
