13 weeks (baby #2)



How far along: 13 Weeks!
Maternity clothes: Still just a few things here or there
Stretch marks: No
Sleep: My insomnia was so bad (waking up in the middle of the night and not being able to fall back asleep for 2+ hours) that I decided to keep taking Diclegis, but just one at night for the sleep benefits. Guess I could just take Unisom....
Best moment of the week: It's been nice now that everyone knows I'm pregnant. No more hiding or lying. And of course, the amount of love and support we've received from so many people is just unbelievable. This weekend I also took Harper to Seaward for their Halloween Spooktacular event  - Harper was Nemo, I was Darla! It was such a fun day and the weather was absolutely perfect!
Worst moment of the week: It's been a great week.
Running/Workouts: I worked out a little too hard this week, a lot of leg exercises and a long run turned me into a limping, sore mess. Otherwise, running has been good. Less than two weeks left until the half marathon - YIKES!
Missing anything: No
Movement: No
Things that make me queasy: Nothing has changed in that department, same smells and foods nauseate me.
Energy level: Feeling okay - but still get to bed pretty early (okay, embarrassingly early) most nights
Labor signs: No
Belly button in or out: In
Wedding ring on or off: On
Mood: Fat - I know that's not really a mood, but man I feel like a whale
Looking forward to: Halloween next week - it's so exciting because Harper understands more and can say "trick-or-treat" this year!
Something surprising about being pregnant with baby #2: During our 12 week ultrasound last week, this little babe was measuring a full week ahead! I feel so blessed and so lucky for her to be growing so perfectly and for things to be going so smoothly thus far. Hopefully she doesn't decide to get too big in there though...
