31 Weeks

How far along: 31 Weeks
Maternity clothes: Yes
Stretch marks: No
Sleep: Same stuff - fall asleep quick, wake up a few times throughout the night. Overall I shouldn't complain because it's really not that bad
Best moment of the week: Our 3D ultrasound - SO AMAZING to see her move, smile, and yawn! There's really a baby in there!! Also had a fun weekend hanging out with Phil, family, and my niece and nephews
Worst moment of the week: Work - continues to kick my butt everyday
Running/Workouts: I got new running shoes, first run this week in them went well....still running about 3-5 miles 4x a week
Missing anything: My energy
Movement: Getting stronger and harder everyday! Love to press her are and feel her press back
Cravings: French onion dip and Baked chips - haven't had french onion dip since I was a kid (and overweight), but it's so good!
Things that make me queasy: Eating in general makes me queasy - Can't wait to not gag/vomit/feel nauseated everyday
Energy level: Exhausted
Labor signs: No, just the usual contractions
Belly button in or out: In
Wedding ring on or off: On
Mood: Irritable at times, happy the rest of the time
Looking forward to: Baby shower next weekend!!
Something surprising about being pregnant: ***TMI*** But urinary incontinence is a real thing...and it's really annoying

Here are a few of the pictures from our 3D/4D Ultrasound!
Thanks again, Mom for the wonderful Mother's day gift!

30 Weeks!

How far along: 30 I seriously writing a THREE!?
Maternity clothes: Yes - Loving maxi dresses and flowy skirts at the moment
Stretch marks: No
Sleep: Waking up frequently, and still never feel as though it's enough. Guess I can call it practice
Best moment of the week: Getting a sneak peak ultrasound of baby girl - she is head down and weighing a little over 3lbs!
Worst moment of the week: Getting my Tdap vaccine! OUCH! But totally worth it!
Running/Workouts: No change - some 5 mile runs are great, some 2 mile runs are torture, trying my best to just listen to my body and not over do it (easier said than done)
Missing anything: Sleep (is it too early to be saying that?)
Movement: I feel like a broken record, but every little kick, jab and movement I feel is wonderful! Truly the most amazing part of the entire pregnancy. It's also pretty exciting when others can see or feel her move, too
Cravings: Nothing new - watermelon, Panera Bread ham and cheese, french fries, salads
Things that make me queasy: Nausea and gagging usually kick in right after I eat - But it's been almost a full week of no vomiting!!
Energy level: Exhausted
Labor signs: Still having random, non painful contractions here and there
Belly button in or out: In
Wedding ring on or off: On
Mood: Happy
Looking forward to: 3D/4D ultrasound tomorrow!
Something surprising about being pregnant: I've been experiencing more and more pelvic discomfort, round ligament pain and newly sciatica pain for the first time. Some days running feels easier than just walking around. My bladder always feels full. Yet, I'm still amazed how well the body compensates and accommodates this growing little person. Uncomfortable? Yeah, of course.....But manageable and worth it? Absolutely!

29 Weeks

How far along: 29 Weeks
Maternity clothes: Yes
Stretch marks: No
Sleep: Some nights are good, others not so much. Never seem to get enough though.
Best moment of the week:  Weekend at the beach with my Mom! So relaxing and fun
Worst moment of the week: Noticing my feet swollen for the first time! Luckily it wasn't too bad, but it's quite weird to see it on myself
Running/Workouts: Tried running with a new belly band, seemed to help a little, but overall I think I'll be running without it for the time being
Missing anything: No
Movement: Yes, and now I'm able to distinguish back and butt from arms and legs....her movements are nothing short of amazing
Cravings: Olive Garden endless salad
Things that make me queasy: I can't believe how bad my gagging and throwing up is getting. It comes on without notice and it hard to hide. Unfortunately it happened this week in a patients room....luckily for me I work with some awesome nurses who were able to help me out!
Energy level: Exhausted this week.
Labor signs: Just the occasional, non painful contractions randomly throughout the day.
Belly button in or out: In
Wedding ring on or off: On
Mood: Happy, but easily irritable. Safe to say I'm slowly losing any filter I used to have
Looking forward to: Getting a 3D/4D ultrasound next week!
Something surprising about being pregnant: I officially have the sexy pregnancy waddle. I don't think I waddle when I run, but pretty much any other time I seem to have the gait of a penguin....

28 Weeks

How far along: 28 Weeks
Maternity clothes: Yes
Stretch marks: No
Sleep: Falling asleep is good, but tossing and turning quite a bit and waking up throughout the night
Best moment of the week:  Being a nurse. I had multiple rewarding patients this week that have touched me forever. Being a labor and delivery nurse can be a very strenuous, tiring and hard job....but at the same time it is also the most rewarding job I could ever imagine doing.
Worst moment of the week: A little scare at the office this week - nothing serious but Harper had her first NST (Non-Stress Test). Luckily she passed with flying colors!
Running/Workouts: Nothing new to report - Still running 3-5 miles 4 days a week as well as spinning class.
Missing anything: Sleeping on my back
Movement: All the time. This is the one thing of my pregnancy that I will never be able to put into words how amazing it is to feel her little movements deep inside.
Cravings: Watermelon - nothing new
Things that make me queasy: Everything nowadays. Vomiting is becoming more of an issue now during my third trimester than it ever was in my first trimester. I apologize to Phil (and anyone else who I might have a meal with in advanced) for the random bouts of throwing up on my plate as soon as I'm done eating
Energy level: Pretty tired this week
Labor signs: I have felt my first contractions this week. I always do a good job of staying hydrated (1-2 liters of water a day in addition to lots of watermelon and powerade zero), and rest when I can), and I know random, painless contractions are not concerning at all. But it is a little weird to actually be feeling them and experiencing them myself. Pretty surreal
Belly button in or out: In
Wedding ring on or off: On
Mood: A little emotional, happy, sad, irritated......HORMONES!
Looking forward to: Heading to the beach this weekend with the best Mom in the world for Mother's Day
Something surprising about being pregnant: With Mother's Day approaching, it's indescribable how much I already love this little baby, and how small, insignificant little sacrifices throughout my pregnancy (morning sickness, discomforts, changes in my body, etc) are absolutely nothing. I would do it and then some for the rest of my life if it meant the best for Harper. And while I know I still have no idea what I'm in for once she's here and the amount of love I will feel for her, I know I have felt the love from my own Mother everyday of my life. I hope I can be half the mother she has been for me and continues to be. Happy Mother's Day to all the Mom's out there! I can't wait to begin my new role here in just 12 short weeks!!

27 Weeks

How far along: 27 - THREE MONTHS TO GO!
Maternity clothes: Yes
Stretch marks: No
Sleep: Sleep is good, but I've reached the point where I'm getting up at least 2-3 times a night to pee
Best moment of the week:  Beach getaway! It was exactly what I needed!
Worst moment of the week: Passing out at the nail salon during a manicure! Yep...I went from feeling a little nauseated, to hot, to not well at all to "ummm, I think I'm gonna pass out". Everyone at the nail salon was very concerned. They sat me down, gave me water and a cool cloth to wipe the crazy amount of sweat suddenly dripping down my arms. After about 10 minutes I felt better and yep, you guessed it, I finished my manicure. I called my husband Phil, and he took me to lunch before I felt safe enough to drive home. Totally random and scary as hell but baby and I are doing great now.
Running/Workouts: Still running...somehow. Still have really good days and not so good days. LOVING my new "Running for two" shirt though!
Missing anything: No
Movement: Yes, I seem to feel her a lot at work throughout the day. I love every single movement I feel
Cravings: Watermelon and salads. Sadly nausea/morning sickness decided to rear it's ugly head again this week
Energy level: Good but very tired at the end of each day
Labor signs: No
Belly button in or out: In
Wedding ring on or off: On
Mood: Happy
Looking forward to: Mother's day next weekend
Something surprising about being pregnant: While I still have three months to go, and I'm actually already sad at the thought of not being pregnant, there is no denying that carrying a baby is rough on the body. At times, it's down right uncomfortable. Running takes its toll on my bladder. Eating is hard because I get so full very quick and still have so many aversions. Working 12 hours as a labor and delivery nurse is hard for anyone, but yeah, it's getting a little tougher each week. I literally pee about 20 times a day (kept count one day at work!). While all these things can be annoying, I must say I'm enjoying feeling theses changes as it means I have a wee little one growing bigger and bigger inside me by the day. The minor discomforts serve as a daily reminder of that!

New running for two shirt!

**Side note: I've been trying for months to get on the Ellen show for her annual first time Mom Mother's Day Show! Pinning these pictures for her contest, wish me luck!! #LaughDanceBaby**
