How far along: 13 weeks - Finally in the SECOND TRIMESTER!
Maternity clothes: Bought my first pair of maternity jeans from The Gap. Went out to the store wearing them and had a hard time keeping them up, not sure if this is normal or if they're still a bit too big for me. Either way, they're super comfy!
Stretch marks: No
Sleep: Sleep is still pretty good...having a few weird and vivid dreams
Best moment of the week:  Finally sharing the good news! I have been completely overwhelmed by the well wishes, hugs and sweet words from friends and strangers! We are truly blessed to have such wonderful people in my life.
Worst moment of the week: Getting sick after eating at Outback (not food poising, just an unsettled tummy which turned to seeing my entire dinner again in the toilet)...officially crossing that one off my list of places to go for a while.
Running/Working out: Happy to say I have run and worked out 4 days a week (the other three I work 12 hour shifts) during my entire first trimester! It definitely wasn't easy, but always felt better once it was done!
Missing anything: My energy. People tell me it will come back soon and I really hope it's true.
Movement: Haven't felt anything but another sneak peak ultrasound showed how active this little guy or gal is! Always all over the place and putting on a show for the camera!
Cravings: Orange juice and publix subs, same things
Things making me queasy or sick: Same things and of course Outback now. The nauseated feeling has seem to lessen, really hoping I'm towards the end of this miserable morning all day sickness
Gender: No, but some people are certain they know. . . . .
Labor signs: No
Belly button in or out: In
Wedding ring on or off: On
Mood: Happy, blessed
Looking forward to: NO MORE PROGESTERONE! I have been taking progesterone suppositories (yup as fun as they sound) since I found out I was pregnant and had to take them up until 13 weeks! YAY!

12 Weeks

How far along: 12 weeks
Maternity clothes: Tried on my first pair of maternity jeans this week.....WOW have I been missing out! I haven't found a pair I really like just yet but they are so comfortable!! Bought my first two maternity shirts though!
Stretch marks: No
Sleep: Sleep is great.
Best moment of the week:  Our Nuchal Translucency (NT) ultrasound today! Baby was ALL over the place moving like crazy! And he/she is really starting to look like a baby! Absolutely amazing! Also we finally announced the big news to family and friends! It feels so good to finally share our happiness with everyone! OH and I caved in a bought a home fetal doppler. I used it for the first time at 11.5 weeks and we found the heartbeat! It was the first time we've actually heard the heartbeat! Such sweet music to my ears!
Worst moment of the week: Working three 12 hour shifts in a row! Talk about EXHAUSTED!
Running/Working out: I'm the newest member of LA Fitness! I got bored with our neighborhood gym and just running outside! So excited to take group classes and have a variety of things to do! Running is slowly feeling a little bit easier/normal though.
Missing anything: Nope
Movement: Not feeling is but this baby sure is active!
Cravings: Fruit and juices! Can't get enough!
Things making me queasy or sick: Mostly the same things that have made me nauseated since the beginning.
Gender: Not yet
Labor signs: No
Belly button in or out: In
Wedding ring on or off: On
Mood: Over the moon happy
Looking forward to: Next week and officially being in the SECOND TRIMESTER!

11 Weeks

How far along: 11 weeks
Maternity clothes: No, lots of stretchy dresses and leggings this week...won't be too much longer though
Stretch marks: No
Sleep: Sleep is still pretty good.
Best moment of the week:  FSU winning the National Championship! It's great to know this future Nole will be born in the year the FSU are National Champs!
Worst moment of the week: Taking care of my nephew over the weekend while he was sick. Coughing and even throwing up at times. Felt so helpless not being able to make him instantly better. How the hell do you Mom's out there do it?!?
Running/Working out: Still running and biking 4 days a week (the other three I'm running around working 12 hours shifts as a labor and delivery nurse...that counts for a workout, right), and although I'm slow and still gaining weight like crazzzzy, I'm pretty proud I've keep up my workouts the entire first trimester!
Missing anything: NOT being tired 24/7...I want my energy back so bad!
Movement: No
Cravings: Same things, fresh fruit, Publix subs, baked cheetos....nothing too healthy :(
Things making me queasy or sick: Same old same old, still not really chewing gum. Thankfully, the nausea is getting a tiny bit better each day. Now more at night rather than all day.
Gender: No, by when I asked my nephew Samson, he very matter of fact answered, "A girl"
Labor signs: No
Belly button in or out: In
Wedding ring on or off: On
Mood: Happy and exhausted.
Looking forward to: 12 week appointment......ultrasound.......and then telling everyone the good news! Seriously can't wait!!

10 weeks

How far along: 10 weeks
Maternity clothes: No, but I've accepted that I need new scrubs :(
Stretch marks: No
Sleep: Sleep is good, always so sleepy no matter how much I sleep.
Best moment of the week:  Getting a sneaked in little ultrasound at our appointment! Got a great view more transvag ultrasound! Little babe is starting to look like a baby!
Worst moment of the week: Constantly upset with my weight gain/body. I know it's all a process and totally worth the end result, but man oh man, is it hard to see and feel the changes day to day.
Running/Working out: Running and biking outside is still going good! Some days are better than others, and I've started turbo kickboxing again. Still feel pretty weak overall though.
Missing anything: My energy.
Movement: No
Cravings: Fresh fruit! And I'm talking fruit that's in season in the summer I'm paying an arm and a leg for fresh cut fruit from publix every few days.
Things making me queasy or sick: Same things. Pretty nauseated everyday. I'm starting to have more good days than bad. Hoping for it to be all gone very soon!
Gender: No
Labor signs: No
Belly button in or out: In
Wedding ring on or off: On
Mood: Happy, lethargic.
Looking forward to: Telling the entire world we're pregnant in just about two weeks! I CAN'T WAIT!

9 Weeks

How far along: 9 weeks
Maternity clothes: No, but learned this week spanx are not only pointless, but completely uncomfortable to wear with a growing lil bump
Stretch marks: No
Sleep: Sleep is still pretty good.
Best moment of the week:  Telling our family Christmas day about baby!! Their reaction was completely priceless! And we managed to catch it all on video!
Worst moment of the week: Seeing sad stuff at work. Working as a labor and delivery nurse and having a baby is a difficult thing to balance. Knowing way too much and all the possibilities from all ends of the spectrum, to seeing families at their most happiest moments to their saddest and lowest points in their lives.
Running/Working out: Been taking a break from the gym and moved workouts outside...running is still slow but enjoying nice long outdoor bike rides!
Missing anything: Chewing gum. For as long as I can remember, I have chewed at least a pack a day of trident bubble gum. However, with my ever-changing tastes and dislikes I have not been able to chew any gum.
Movement: No
Cravings: Fast food! Who the hell am I?! While I don't get it (okay I lied...we got Chick Fil A ONCE!) I am tempted to drive through every drive through I pass on the road!
Things making me queasy or sick: Same things, still pretty nauseated when I wake up, still lasts most the day but dare I say it, I feel as thought perhaps it's not as bad.
Gender: No
Labor signs: No
Belly button in or out: In
Wedding ring on or off: On
Mood: Happy.
Looking forward to: Seeing our pictures from our photo shoot this weekend. We did a "Pregnancy Announcement" type shoot! So excited to see them!

8 weeks

How far along: 8 weeks
Maternity clothes: No, probably won't be much longer. NOTHING I OWN IS COMFORTABLE.
Stretch marks: No
Sleep: Sleep is good, just never seems like I can get enough
Best moment of the week:  Snuck in another ultrasound due to mild cramping. Baby was growing appropriately, heartbeat was 158 bpm, nice a strong! I even got to see it flicker on the screen. Absolutely amazing!
Worst moment of the week: Being nauseated 27/4. Completely draining, frustrating, depressing. Just horrible.
Running/Working out: Running pace seems to be getting slower and slower each run. I am very weak and slow in the gym now a days.
Missing anything: Being able to get up and takes me literally hours to get going on my days off.
Movement: No
Cravings: Panera bread ham and cheese. This is all I want for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Things making me queasy or sick: Everything. I can't emphasize how debilitating the nausea is.
Gender: Nope
Labor signs: No
Belly button in or out: In
Wedding ring on or off: On
Mood: Same as last week...constantly exhausted, and beyond frustrated with the constant nausea.
Looking forward to: Telling our parents the BIG news on Christmas this week! So ready to tell everyone so I can finally explain why I've been so lazy, nauseated, tired all the time! And of course to celebrate this miracle with everyone who has supported us along the way!!

7 weeks

How far along: 7 weeks
Maternity clothes: No...but have been eyeing some cute stuff in the maternity section at Target!
Stretch marks: No
Sleep: Sleep is okay except for two-three bathroom trips and waking up nauseous.
Best moment of the week:  FIRST ULTRASOUND! There really is a baby in there, with a heart beating 120 bpm! So in love already!
Worst moment of the week: Discovering baby has a Subchorionic Hemorrhage . Doctor isn't concerned at this's VERY small, and I've have no bleeding. Apparently this is the most common abnormality seen on ultrasound with a live embryo. But babe is measuring right on time with the date of last my last period, so all is well! Praying this thing just gets absorbed and isn't seen on the next ultrasound!
Running/Working out: Still somehow managing to make it to the gym in the morning.
Missing anything: Not being nauseous
Movement: No
Cravings: Crackers, and breakfast foods, just not in the morning.
Things making me queasy or sick: Morning sickness All day sickness is in full effect. Those who know me know I chew at least a pack a day of trident bubble I can't even smell it. This is only one of many of my favorites that I can't stomach at this time.
Gender: No idea
Labor signs: No
Belly button in or out: In
Wedding ring on or off: On
Mood: Exhausted, and frustrated with being nauseous all day which leads to breakdowns and tears
Looking forward to: Being able to tell everyone about being pregnant! 12 days till Christmas which is when we are telling our parents the big news!

6 Weeks

How far along: 6 weeks
Maternity clothes: No, but all I wear are PJs, workout clothes (that are too tight) and scrubs (that are too tight)
Stretch marks: No, be using Bio-Oil and Mustela cream since day one.
Sleep: Sleep is still fantastic, except for waking up every night between 2-3am to pee.
Best moment of the week:  Rechecking my Bhcg/Beta level (pregnancy hormone) for a 3rd time on Thursday (5 weeks 5 day) and it was 16,923! Umm, how many babies are in there?!
Worst moment of the week: Taking weekly pictures - so upset with how my body looks already. Arms, bloat, everything. I want to embrace and enjoy the changes, but it's too damn early to be this big!
Running/Working out: Workout routine is pretty much the same, 30 minute run, 30 minute stationary bike, then weight lifting 4 times week. Nausea and fatigue hold me back at times.
Missing anything: My clothes fitting
Movement: No
Cravings: Cereal! Have it almost every night for dinner
Things making me queasy or sick: Morning sickness has begun. No throwing up, but constantly feel carsick!
Gender: Supposedly high beta levels can mean girl?!
Labor signs: No
Belly button in or out: In
Wedding ring on or off: On
Mood: Emotions, crying A LOT.
Looking forward to: Our FIRST ultrasound next Tuesday! Praying to hear a strong, healthy heartbeat!

5 Weeks

How far along: 5 weeks
Maternity clothes: No, but I could use some....I feel like it's waaaay too early for all my clothes to be too tight! Very depressing.
Stretch marks: No
Sleep: Sleep is great...just want more of it. All day everyday I can literally fall asleep anywhere.
Best moment of the week: Seeing my Bhcg/Beta level go from 196 to 538 in a little over 48 hours! Hoping to recheck it one more time sometime this week.
Worst moment of the week: Trying on clothes. I feel so unattractive.
Running/Work outs: Running has slowed down, sprints are not as fast either. Feel very nauseas during my runs.
Missing anything: Caffeine!
Movement: No
Cravings: Nothing really.
Things making me queasy or sick: No morning sickness, but have felt nauseous during each of my morning runs.
Gender: Still undecided if we'll find out or not. I LOVE the idea of a surprise, but I'm such a planner that it will be hard not to know!
Labor signs: No
Belly button in or out: In
Wedding ring on or off: On
Mood: Happy for the most part, exhausted and sometimes cranky.
Looking forward to: An ultrasound to see something, anything! Hoping for reassurance of a viable pregnancy!
